I enjoy crocheting for others. It is something that the Lord has given me. My mother tried to teach me when I was younger, but I just didn't enjoy it. At that time just about everything was done with granny squares. I found that boring and too long to see results! I think the only thing that I ever accomplished to make at that time was a zip up cocoon for my oldest son.

Let's jump to ... 20 some years later. When my husband and I got married [we're a blended family] the Lord told me to crochet a blanket. This was the first of many. I made blankets of all sorts for everybody!

And now; for the past 4 years I have been doing a lot of Grammy crocheting for our grandbabies and great-grandbabies! Everything from layettes to blankets to toys! I did make my hubby a sweater last year and I made a couple of things for me too. But as the Lord leads, I will continue to crochet; mainly for others.
